Not to be confused with the beach / village with the same name in the northeast of Corfu. The village is also known as Agios Stefanos and it is a perfect place for those people that like their holiday to be quiet. AGIOS STEFANOS is a fishermens village where the Greek wooden boats are laying in the bay. At the beach there are a few tavernas to be found. The village is situated at the northeast point of the island Corfu and there can be some wind from time to time. This is why it has become a popular destination for windsurfers. There are not so many hotels and other kinds of accommodation yet. from Agios Stefanos thers is a busservice to Sidari and from there towards Corfu town. The ride takes about two hours in total and during the summer this bus goes five times a day. The beach in Agios Stefanos really does have to be seen to be believed, a walk along it will make you feel as though you are in your own personal paradise that you had always seen in your dreams and imaginations. Walk on the beach as the sun is going down and you will really enjoy the feeling of being on holidays in Agios Stefanos. The sunsets there are amazing and you will want to experience them every night as they are like nothing you have seen before
