Roda is on a short distance of another well known tourist hotspot, Acharavi. RODA is a smal coastal village in the north of the island of Corfu with quite some shops, bars and restaurants. Here too there are cash machines for your bankcards. The beach of Roda is long stretched and good. Roda village is a small resort that has already become a bit touristic. It is heavily English orientated, but the beach in the village and the small boulevard are cozy and relaxed.
For children it is a pleasant place to be, because the sea is shallow and the beach is wide,. There are many places where you can have lunch or dinner, cute shops and quite a number of hotels in the village, amongst which is the Roda Beach Hotel. In Roda there are remains of a Dorian temple from the 5th century BC. It is a small village ideally suited for both families and couples. Originally a small fishing village, Roda has kept most of it's character, whilst still having a lot to offer most tourists. It is also an ideal base for touring around the surrounding area.
